BEGINNING OIL PAINTING WITH VIRGINIA PENDERGRASS

TOLE PAINTING

Come and join local artist Dorothy Shuette for a one-day tole painting class each month at the Transylvania Activity Center.  Dorothy has instructed painting classes for the parks and recreation department for over 18 years.  Her painted Christmas ornaments were displayed on the White House Christmas tree in 2006.

CREATIVE WRITING

Dr. Darlene Odell, a published author and former professor at Clemson University and William & Mary University, will be hosting a series of  writing classes for both youth and adults.  She has instructed various classes at the parks and recreation department for the last two years.
